There are two kinds of observer; those who observed and act and those  who observed and ignore. We, people, must be aware of our surrounding. Everything that surrounds us affects us, and everything we do affects our life. I would like to promote the concept of citizen journalism. We are not all journalist but we have what we call citizen journalist. They are the people who is not a journalist in profession but act like a journalist.

Citizen journalism promotes awareness of an individual to his environment. Bayan Mo, Ipatrol Mo of TV Patrol is a segment where in they promote citizen journalism. Citizen journalist sends their scoop on BMIM’s social media account and Tv Patrol gives them the opportunity to report it to nation and be acknowledged as if they were a real journalist. By this way, people are getting more aware on their environment. This is just an example of those programs who gives chances for all ordinary people who want to inform others. This kind of segment is such a blessing to us. At least, everyone else can be a watchdog for those wrong deeds. Because of this kind of segment, the number of crimes will be minimize and there will be hope for peace. If ever you have your scoop (anything else that you think is newsworthy and affects the society), here are their social media account and websites.
